Mommy's work is never done......SMA event!!!

So, besides taking care of Ella and Kaleb, researching SMA, working, crafting, being an awesome wife (wink wink), and attempting to keep the house halfway clean (thank God for Brandon), I always feel the responsibility to make sure that we do our part in raising money for a cure for SMA. Brandon says that I am crazy, that I have enough on my plate. So, thinking of something to do was a little daunting. I contacted Cathy at John Edwards' Salon in Bellevue about a possible cut-a-thon to raise a few hundred dollars for SMA Research. Cathy said no way, we gotta do more!! Probably the sweetest lady you could ever meet! :) So, a "Night Out for a Cure" was born :) Cathy has just taken charge of this event and I am
soooo very grateful for someone who is so caring. Her, her staff (especially our family member Tracy), and her family have just jumped right on board to help make a difference for Ella and all of those affected by SMA! What a blessing!!

John Edwards Salon has teamed up with the Peters' family for a
"Night Out for a Cure" !!

Why: SMA is a devastating disease and these kids and families NEED a cure! Dr. Brian Kaspar's Gene Replacement Therapy Program at Ohio State University has made HUGE advances in developing a cure for SMA! ALL proceeds from this event will go directly to the program.
When: Saturday, April 7th from 5pm-11pm
Where: Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department Hall

$25 per ticket or $160 for a table of eight
